    December 12, 2012 - Bit oaky at first, with whiffs of oriental spice, sandalwood and tree bark. Then come hints of animal - like a sweaty horseback. Opens up to bright ripe raspberry and red cherry aromas, assisted by liquorice and crushed rocks. Tastewise relatively light-bodied and slender with bright fresh acidity, silky smooth mouthfeel, fine spicy tannins and nicely lingering pastille-like flavours of red fruit and rocks. Really elegant, well balanced and enjoyable already - also very transparent, pure and not too oaky - yet appears to have more layers to unlock in a few years time.
