  December 24, 2012 - Nose: smooth cherries and a little pepper; decanted for 60 minutes, and still a little hot
  
  Pallet: dirt, graphite, bark (?) - not sure that's the right word but it makes me think of the woods; not in the way that a scotch does, but it makes me think of wintertime in the woods
  
  Legs: very smooth with some nice tannins; could have used a bit more, but very smooth; perhaps in a few years this will come together, lose the heat and
  
  Overall very nice; wish I had another bottle or three
