  December 23, 2012 - Lots of power. A little funky on the nose at first. Making transition to secondary. This wine had a great mix of cherry and baking spice. Wonderful Chambolle character. Tasted side by side with 2000. The 2000 was more giving initially, but this wine was much more structured and built to age. This wine has a long road in front of it. I wouldn't open another bottle for a good 5-10 years.
