  December 31, 2012 - Deep purple in color (almost a light black). You can taste black cherries, vanilla, cola, tobacco, and cedar. A bit thin but nice Rutherford tannin structure. A little hint of heat but like another taster noted seemed a little muted and closed. A little plain for a $55-60 wine.
