  January 19, 2013 - Pnp. Cork ok. Color garnet. Nose shows very ripe cherry, fig and chocolate and a dusty character. Swishing shows acid and tobacco and fine tannins. Sipping shows lighter fruit than expected from ripeness on nose no doubt buoyed by the acid. Finish a bit thinner than expected but silky smooth. Good with Carne tonight but not enough there to stand alone for me.
