March 3, 2013 - Decanted and drank some over 4 or 5 hours, rebottled and recorked overnight. TN is on the wine the next morning. Labeled at 14% ABV

Deep red garnet. Dark red fruit with black cherry and tart ligonberries, tar, bitter chocolate, herbacious garrigue, florals - camellia flowers, reminds me of childhood.

Palate keeps the dark red fruit, plum, herbs, chocolate, and something faintly sweet at the fringes that I cant put my finger on. A nice, savory finish that lingers around for a while. Very good bottle of wine, but I think it will continue to add some weight and nuance in the bottle over time.

Give it a good decant now, at least 3 or 4 hours, but this can definitely stay in the cellar for a while.
