April 12, 2013 - Drank over two nights. Pretty reticent day one, even trying from three different glasses; better day two, though this bottle never really seemed to gain any focus. Good, but as diffuse as the nebulized sediment in it (plus a spoonful of precipitated sediment). Dried strawberry, sous bois, charcoal, willow bark?, crust of a strawberry/rhubarb pie. It was a bit more open and tasty day two, though not a better bottle of Lapierre for me. Wouldn't have been a fan if this were my first. C'est la vie. S 22/05/09 lot.
