  May 3, 2013 - This wine drank like a $15 Cotes du Rhone. The nose smelled of dark red fruit and wet leather. The mouth had a medium body, simple red fruit characteristics, touches of saddle leather and a firm tannin backbone. I was really let down by the hype surrounding this wine. I was expecting more body, more concentration, more complexity...no way is the wine as good as a few notable publications suggest. Purchased and consumed in Australia.
