  June 4, 2013 - Still very dark in color, not typical of a village level wine of 14 years old. Very subtle nose, nowhere near the 09' vintage. Sweet and smooth on entry with round tannins but monolithic. Good balance but not showing anything else. This wine is probably in the dumb phase. 1.5 hrs after uncorked, acidity starts to show but still muted on the nose. Hard to read this wine. 88-92 pts.
