  June 7, 2013 - Nose is bright cherry and SO misleading. The mid palate is intensely rich and polished with a kick of rich oak, plum, baking spices and vanilla. For a cool vintage, this is stellar!!!
  
  Second tasting 7/12. Just remarkable. This has to be one of the best US Merlots I can recall. The flavors are just so deep, rich and balanced. Each sip I crave more.

  Consumed at at cellar temp: 60°-65° F. Friends don't let friends drink red wine at room temp!
