  June 20, 2013 - Decanted 2+ hours and paired with meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies, and salad. Young wine with great structure and lovely finesse on the nose and fruit profile. Slight raspberry, musty earth, mushrooms up front with chocolate, cassis, and espresso on the mid-palate. Fruit still restrained and finish is very dry, so has a good 10-20 years ahead. Well-made wine. Nice, crafty Merlot that feels almost like a Cab.
