July 3, 2013 - Decanted for 1 hour. Serving temperature 12 C. Fully developed with aromas of butter, nuts, honey and citrus. Very promising on the nose with medium+ intensity.
The aromas on the palate are the same as on the nose plus a hint of minerals.
The acidity level is only medium (too low, I think), medium+ body, flavour intensity and length. As this is a 19 year old wine I would expect its fruit to be paler and with less punch, but I am slightly disappointed because the secondary aromas have not developed to the complexity one could hope - given the appelation and the producer. Drink now or hold less than 3 years.
