  July 7, 2013 - Opened and allowed to sit for 90 mins, but not decanted.
  
  Youthful nose of oak, cedar, and pipe tobacco just out of the pouch, and black plums/fruit. Mouthfeel is extraordinarily approachable for a wine that still has such a young nose. More black fruit, toasted cedar, caramel, spice box and vanilla. Finish is 45+ seconds, with tight wood and spices lingering. Will hold 3+ years before moving on to the next bottle in the case.
