  August 17, 2013 - I couldn't believe how young this wine tasted. I guess Ampeau's cellars really must be as cold as I hear. Still very primary orchard fruits and spicy citrus tones. Medium weight and smokey with rippled texture. Decent acidity and balance. Certainly enjoyable but nothing profound.
