October 19, 2013 - Absolutely thrilling Spätlese. The fruit's slimmed down just a touch since release, it's still quite ripe and intense on the palate with plenty of rich apple, citrus and white cherry fruit tinged with flowers, minerals and still some sponti yeast funk, but it feels lean and razor sharp with remarkable acidity providing phenomenal cut and vibrancy. Impeccably balanced, long and all too easy to drink now, yet the balance and structure suggest lots of time ahead for this.
