  October 22, 2013 - Cheese & Wine Tasting - Westchester Wine School (Auray Cheese Shop, Larchmont, NY): Drank at Ned tasting at Auray. Apricots and quince on the nose. Pretty amber color, not as dark as one might have expected. Apricots, ripe raisins and burnt orange on the palate, sweet with decent acidity level--I would have preferred more. The wine was pleasant enough and was enjoyed by all, but in my opinion not what it is in better vintages. I'm hoping for improvement with age. Great match with the French blue cheese (Fourme d'Ambert) served.
