November 9, 2013 - Pours out glistening with green hues. If it weren’t for a whiff of toast and a hint of mushroom development (and a lack of premox) this could be 20 years younger. It has some restrained exoticism coupled with preserved lemon, honeysuckle, mint and aniseed notes and an icy cool mineral spine. It has richness but is so linear and direct. The finish is laden with chalk and length extraordinary. One suspects that well stored bottles of this will be humming along beautifully in another quarter of a century.
