  60 min decant...inky violet hue...lush black fruits caressed in charred cedar, espresso, graphite with soft floral and spice notes on the nose...was expecting a jammy fruit bomb from color/nose but surprisingly light yet ripe fruit on entry with soft velvety tannins, bright acidity and a medium finish that falls a bit short...drinking beautifully now but not sure this will improve much with age as the balance is optimal at the moment...although quite young, if tannins fade anymore with age, you may wish you had not waited...i would have expected this to be a ~$75 cab so QPR is a bit disappointing...may buy and squirrel away a few bottles to see what happens in 5+ years
