November 24, 2013 - I'm a little concerned about this wine. There's a disjointed, slightly hot, almost oxidative quality to it...but it could also just be closed up tight. Either possibility is odd for an young bourgogne. I can detect a little bit of the good stuff (fruit & minerals) underneath all this, but its hard to get past it.
Unfortunately I didn't write about the bottle I had back in April, but I distinctly remember having a similar experience. Puzzling...I'll hold my remaining 4 until next spring and try again.2,061 views
