  November 28, 2013 - At Thanksgiving, opened in honor of our niece Natalie! Decanted for about an hour prior to drinking. Really opened up after the decant - highly recommended. Had this with cheeses/olives prior to dinner.
  
  Medium purple color to the rim, some cloudiness. Nose was dark fruits, earth, cedar. Palate was plums, blueberries, dark cherry, vanilla. Long finish. Tannins are softened and integrating.
  
  Could pair with a big range of foods, not a gentle Pinot by any means. Big/New World profile that you have to like - fruit forward, viscous. This is still very young, should add complexity with some age.
