  January 1, 2014 - My last and best 04 Fevre. Green gold color with a fresh briny nose. Lip smacking citrus and minerality and a nice long finish. What a way to go out on '04 Fevre. Now I only have one Fevre left. It's a an '00 Les Clos I've been saving for its 15th anniversary. So far, every '00 of this wine has been stellar. We'll see if any Fevre can make it to age 15 next year. I used to own a lot of Fevre but stopped buying when the pricing went through the roof. I'm actually surprised I paid $67 for this wine. I had assumed it had been sub $50. '04/ '05 must have been when the prices started to really jump since thats pretty much the last vintage I bought. I only bought some Fevre MDT for '05 and skipped the grands.
