  April 4, 2014 - Opened three days prior, recorked after taking a small sip each night. The nose is slightly muted on this relative to the sercial, but I detect a similar nuttiness (walnuts?), creme brulee, prunes, and a saline note that is reminiscent of an ocean breeze. Like the Sercial, this one is full bodied with coffee, nuts, prunes, and a sweetness similar to bourbon (without the heat). There remains plenty of acidity and the finish is moderate to long.
  
  I'm drinking the last glass tonight. This has now been open for six months. This really hasn't changed much. If anything, the sweetness I noted early on has come into balance with the other components. Very nice.
