  April 17, 2012 - working with wine 2012 seminar 1 - chardonnay (Pyrmont): copper coloured with rim face and considerable tearing. The wine has pronounced aromas of marzipan, honey - almost truffled honey and cheese, nuts funky hazelnuts over slight apricot also some cheesy mushroom notes here as well. In the mouth the wine has medium plus acidity, marzipan slight spicy and citric tang, barley sugar, lacks fruit, some cream here. medium length. Lovely nose but tired and old palate
