Great but perhaps suffers from the reputation of the basic bottling which is so good one wants something distinct from the riservas. Again, utterly delicious, bold flavours, mouth-wateringly sharp acidity and satisfyingly Piedmont but I'm not convinced the basic cru wouldn't offer a bigger bang for the buck. 91
