  June 19, 2014 - Brought this as a backup to a lobster fest with 6 friends. Organizer of the event is a white burg guy. My primary bottle was an 04 Fevre Le Clos which was disgustingly maderized. All of us enjoyed the Michael and the burg fans who usually disdain CA chards commented favorably on the abscence of oak which is contrary to several recent CT reviews. Pale straw in color. Pear and vanilla on the nose. Delicious palate with pear, lots of spice and nice minerality. I enjoyed this a lot. Beautiful and interesting balanced palate.
