  July 2, 2014 - Still very, very closed for the first hour or so. Pretty tannic and heavily acidic. After a while in the glass, it opened up a good deal, tannins and acids mellowed a bit and it became beautiful and silky with an expansive palate. Seems to need a few more years to enter a prime drinking window.
