  July 7, 2014 - This didn't really show its true colors until the 3rd night, when it fleshed out and acquired the richer, waxier aromas and textures that I loved so much about the 2005 and 2008 vintages of this wine. And while this never seemed to show the depth of fruit as those more approachable renditions, it had the bone dry minerality, wooly funk, and acid-driven precision I love so much about Savennieres. A solid QPR as always.
