August 3, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a deep garnet colour and presence of dense slow-falling legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of ripe dark plums, sour cherries, lavender, liquorice, vanilla and cedar. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has medium+ fine-grained tannins and a high warm alcohol. It has a medium body and medium+ intensity flavours of dark plums, sour cherries, lavender, liquorice and cedar. The finish is medium+.

It is a very good quality wine with a nice fruit concentration well-balanced by the refreshing acidity, a decent finish and a moderate degree of complexity provided by floral and oaky notes. However it could be even more complex. Can drink now, but it has enough acidity, tannins and fruit concentration to develop more complex tertiary aromas in the next 3-5 years.
