March 14, 2014 - 100 RP Points plus some extra's (@ Bottles): Wow! A beauty. Classical wine in a modern cover. (Or the other way round?) The bouquet shows exclusive smoky oak with beautifully ripe cassis and other dark forest fruits and some smoke. On the palate beautiful dark forest fruits as well, exclusive oak again, sweet spices as well as a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Soft and round tannin with a beautiful bite. Good freshness and an enormous length. Truly great wine in its very early maturity stage now and it can last easily for another decade and more. So 2025+ The score for tonight was 98+
