  September 30, 2014 - Dark purple, opaque in the glass. Nose of plum and ETOH. Palate repeats plums, cherry, licorice on the finish. Fine grained tannins. Even a hint of ripe strawberry. Nice accompaniment to paste (cheese ravioli) with plenty of acidity for the food and tomato sauce.
