  December 6, 2014 - While approachable upon opening, this wine progressed from youthfulness to mature within a 5 hour decant (light sediment). Inky color, it possesses great aromas of fresh loamy forest floor after a fresh rain, dark fruit, currant. Tastes of dark fruit, hints of fig, plum, black pepper, chocolate, nutmeg. Nicely polished tannins in this full bodied wine that provided me a long mouthwatering finish. Near perfection over a great ribeye dinner with great friends.
