  December 19, 2014 - Consistent with the April 9 notes-- each bottle is potentially a Tempranillo super star or a slightly unbalanced, somewhat acidic and dry elegant old Rioja. This bottle fell into the latter category. Palate of tobacco, old dark cherry, wet, aged oak, bramble earth, with a dry, tar and cherry nose. Acid started to evolve after 20 minutes. And it did not pair as well with food. It is indeed possible that some of the bottles need more time while others are not going in positive direction. A classic wine that deserves to endure the variations.
