  October 14, 2007 - typical, drinkable merlot nose of fruit and plums; fruit and blackberries, as well as a strange minerality to the finish, and some wood (not oak, not sure what). subtle and interesting, but didn't stand up to the big meal we had. b liked this a lot; i did not enjoy it as much (82)
