  November 16, 2007 - After trying this and retasting our wedding wine (93 HSS) during a recent visit to the winery without Mrs Davidandrose, I was "compelled" to open a bottle of this. This really is a consistent example of a very age-worthy wine that is equally enjoyable upon release. 90 mins in the decanter and enjoying over a 2.5 hour drinking window gave a great opportunity to fully take this wine in. As noted earlier, lots of dark fruit and a rich, heavy mouthfeel but extremely well-balanced. Tried this in both standard Spig cab stems and Reidel Sommelier stems; the Somm. series stems largely eliminated a slight alcohol burn while better promoting some floral aromas.
