June 7, 2016 - Last tasted about 2 and a half years ago. Still much the same as when last tasted: "Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, sweet cassis, some blueberry, roasted game meat, herbs, and vanillin. Similar flavors, with the addition of pepper and dark chocolate. Big, powerful, rich, with intense fruit. Viscous in the mouth." Tannins are now integrated into the wine and the wine is drinking at its apogee. Again, a long and spicy finish. I feel the wine has a year or two left for enjoyment.

9/7/16, 6:00 PM - Loved your description and agree with your assessment of this wine. I have been rushing to drink all of my Rhones that CT deemed I should have already drunk by 2014 or 2015 and I'm finding these wines still have another couple of years in my opinion.
