  May 30, 2008 - An excellent Syrah now and one that will only get better with another year or two of cellar time. Did not decant this bottle, which is why the first glass was a bit locked down. With air, however, a magnificently dense & rich nose of blackberry, blueberry, leather, and a hint of tar appear... the combination is in perfect harmony. Silky smooth on the palate, no noticeable heat, with similar notes of dark fruit, leather, and a bit of spice. Medium to long finish. A $30 Syrah that's worth every penny (and then some). Highly recommended.
