  August 30, 2008 - Big difference between the last time I had this wine & now. I decanted 2 hours and let it sit open in the bottle for another 3 hrs. This enabled the wine to show much more complexity. The nose showed dark black raspberry, cassis, fresh leather and a touch of blueberry. In the mouth, nice long finish, fine grained tannins there but in check with the copious amount of fruit. The wine kept getting better and better as the night progressed. Really beautiful wine. This wine is great now with a 3 hr decant, or I believe it will age nicely for 5 - 7 yrs. Glad I have 2 more bottles.
