This wine never disappoints. My last magnum. Opened via coravin and drunk for 8 days. Every time felt new aroma or palate sensation. One of the best wines I've ever tasted.

Exceptional! We opened this for a 10th anniversary and were not disappointed. Soft tannins balanced with wonderful dark fruit, cranberries and blackberries. It was delightful from opening and only got better throughout the evening. Wish we had another bottle but grateful to enjoy it on a special day.

The only reason it is 98 points not 100 is because I have Thomas and 1860 which I have never tried before in my cellar. Have opened my last bottle of 10th Anniversary on Thanksgiving . This wine blows away anything next to it and beyond. Has freshness unbelievable for 10 year old Pinot. Smell of herbs witch I can not describe. Only memory of lake house tasting at Donum (best one of all wines offered).Wish I would have more. If you come across A bottle or two snatch it while you can.

Opened with coravin on my Birthday .Bought two bottles at Donum while tasting and strolling their magnificent art works. Now back to the wine. After ten years in the bottle this one is fresh and has a lot of fruit tastes in it .On the nose : red fruits like raspberry, red currant and notes of strawberry. on the palate spices and herbs - exactly what I like in aged pinots. Wine is noble . Giving it 94 points tonight and will see tomorrow how it will taste.

Ben brought over a sample which also said La Rochelle on it - at the begining rather tight and based on the 75-80 price ben gave us very expensive. A day and a half later this was much improved with good elegance and lovely notes. A huge improvement and i enjoyed it with susan although i would still consider it pricy but now very nice.
