Flight 1 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
1999 Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon France, Champagne
82 points
Not particularly expressive. A bit diluted on the palate.

Flight 2 (1 note)

White
2005 Château Rayas Côtes du Rhône Blanc Château de Fonsalette Reserve France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
90 points
Fresh and lively, honeysuckle, exotic. Got better with 2nd and 3rd glass. Washed down well with "fa diu" crab noodle.

Flight 3 (1 note)

Red
2003 Château Rayas Côtes du Rhône Château de Fonsalette Cuvée Syrah France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
90 points
Lovely sweet nose of melted licorice and wild berries. Simple and pleasant pop-and-pour wine.

Flight 4 (1 note)

Red
2003 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Pignan Reserve France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
89 points
Decanted for an hour. Nice nose of framboise and kirsch. Dense and chewy on the palate. The fizzy dirt of previous bottle less obvious but still feel I got a less than perfect batch. Lets hope it will improve with time.
