Wine dinner with work colleagues

An eclectic wine dinner to show my work colleagues what we wine nuts get up to in the evenings. All the wines showed exceptionally and Medlar was on tip top form with the food.
Flight 1 - with Pig's head croquettes and sauce ravigotte (2 notes)
Flight 2 - with White onion soup, sautéed st georges, braised chicken wings and gougères (3 notes)
2005 Ridge Geyserville
The oak has integrated superbly on this, and it's really fresh, complex, not at all heavy, showcasing the herby zinfandel fruit - brilliant
1999 Chateau Musar
Rich, exotic, a touch of farmyard, gorgeously expansive on the palate - a spectacular Musar
Flight 3 - with Crab ravioli, samphire, fondue of leeks and bisque sauce (2 notes)
Flight 4 - with Under blade fillet, braised shin, salad, triple cooked chips and béarnaise (3 notes)
Flight 5 - with Individual parkin, stem ginger, roast pineapple and crème fraîche (2 notes)
