Introduction
The Janselijn Wijnen tasting (www.topbourgognes.nl) was a fabulous event.
On table bottles of producers like, Bachelet, Fourrier, Dugat, Perrot-Minot, Rouget, Tremblay, Noëllat, Méo-Camuzet, Ponsot, Colin-Morey, Piuze, Jobard, Buisson-Charles and Ente.
The event was held at the (www.sottolounge.nl) the venue was super! Many thanks to Janselijn Wijnen - Top Bourgognes for organising this event.

2010 Arnaud Ente Meursault

A blend of 70% En l’Ormeau and 30% Casse Tête. A very precise nose of lime, apple, fresh pear and chalky minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure, with superb minerality, brisk acids and laser like focus on the finish. Absolutely brilliant for their appellation.

A complex nose of apple, lemon peel and intense stoniness. On the palate the wine is, full-bodied complex and very precise, with brisk acids on the long finish. A sparkling expression of terroir and premier cru quality.

A superb nose of lemon, clementines and wonderfully chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and gorgeously complex, with ripe acids, superb balance and brilliant length. This is a gorgeous wine.

From a parcel measuring .78 ha that is on the Genevrières side. On the nose citrus, apple and chalky minerality. On the palate the wine is, full-bodied and pure, with bright acids and great precision on the refined finish. A brilliant premier cru Meursault.

A superb and beautifully mature nose of a complex mélange of brioche, orange zest, apples and a touch of hazelnuts. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and à point, with beautifully integrated acids and superb length on the complex finish. Complete and really exciting.

On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and sappy with ripe tannins and a wonderful long complex soil-driven finish. This 2009 Gevrey VV is outstanding quality for their appellation.
