Échantillon. No rating, this wine has to be in barrel for a year. Of course it's deep purple in colour. Hints of malo. Some green element, grassy, licorice and bay leaf. mediocre finish.

the '09's are more closed than their opulent brothers from 2010. More closed on the nose and palate. Rich black fruit, tannins, leather. And too much present alcohol at the moment.

Beautiful on the nose and palate. Oak, herbs, tabacco, pencil lead and bay leaf. The alcohol is present and had to integrate in the wine. Very complete wine and a perfect effort in this price range. Lovely now if you like a tannic wine.

Échantillon. Strawberry, spices and 'warm' nose. Nice fruit, good acidity and body. Will become a very pleasant wine. No score yet.

Sensational wine. A bit layered but already so nice to drink. oak, fruit, warm, spicy, tannic. It has it all. Outstanding now but will become even better with time. But why wait? If possible, try one now.

Closing. Fruity, warm, plum pie. Also some rough elements and alcoholic. 'Friendy' wine which is closing now. Great future but wait for 5-10 years.

Perfumed on the nose. Fruity palate, good acidity, fresh. Nice wine which pairs well with food.

WOTN. Stunning! Beautifully balanced on both nose and palate. Tannic, still very young, black and red fruit, wood. But most of all: balance. And for such a warm year as 2003 was, this wine has freshness which holds it all together and makes it easy to drink and to pair with food. Very very good.

Shows some maturation. Balanced, light-footed, fruity. A little thin. Had it's best time. To put it all together: classic, drink now.

The scent of the wine disappears after some time. This is very good. Big wine with berries, alcohol (present) tart. It's well balanced and will improve. 93 so far

From magnum. Classic: tar, tobacco, pencil lead, earthy. It's an old Bordeaux which becomes older quickly in the glass. But what a joy to taste something which done it's best to become better for 27 years.

In a line-up with Montrose '00 '10 '09 it's hard for a 1995... Passed it's peak. Everything integrated and ready to drink.
