Introduction
I was excited to be included in such a comprehensive tasting. I was very distracted by the enjoyable conversation that my notes are a bit sketchy--and I am finally posting this over a month later. Les Nomades was terrific. Food was magical.

Really love nose of apple, wet stone and some tropical fruit. Full, round and rich on the palate. Serious minerality, but had a richness that buffered it. For my taste, this was the WOTN and surprised at the vintage.

Powerful nose of pineapple, wax and wet stone. Nicely concentrated on the palate. Next to the 97, this lacked detail, but was delicious.

A lovely wine and coming off the fully open and fat 97 Valmur, this seemed softer and less forward. Subtle, yet powerful finish.

Next to the Clos, this was super forward and powerful. Very intense with ripe fruit and serious grip on the finish. Might be the first time I have used that term for a white.
