Rosé - Sparkling

Extremely delicate and refined, floral, restrained, hint of smoke, crushed red berries, light but intense, subtle and layered, whiff of white almonds, gentle mousse, long and complex finish.

White
2013 Domaine Alain Patriarche Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières
92 points
Youthful but already very attractive, lovely mealy typicity, elegant and mineral, fresh but ripe fruit, well-judged smoky oak, rounded but precise, medium weight, clean flavours, lovely length.
Red
1995 Château L'Evangile
93 points
Pristine bottle, decanted for two hours. Mature but lively appearance; classic and expressive nose, fresh red berries, earth and spice, slightly dusty, minerals, good depth, eucalyptus, hint of nutty evolution, has lift; powerful and sturdy palate, firm 1995-tannins are ripe but continue to provide grip, masculine style, broad shoulders but no lack of fruit or elegance; complete finish, good length. This one is a bit more austere than the bottle tasted two years ago. Fully mature, will not improve but no hurry.
Red - Fortified
1963 Croft Porto Vintage
93 points
Pale colour but not bricked through; complex and deep nose of candied fruit and spices, floral lift, tangerine, pure, vestiges of liquorous black cherry, touch of wood, hint of VA; intense and powerful palate with real drive, freshness and energy, elegantly sweet, flowing, resolved tannins, juicy fruit, warm but clean flavours; complete finish, very good length, considerable but not unpleasant back-end heat.
