Dark core, maroon rim; tangy tart sour cherry, cement dust, funky, wild, raspberry, lighter body, nori, almost autumnal; very good.

Deep crimson, rusty rim; loads of cinnamon, roses, mint, sandalwood, fine tannin, medicinal, persistent; thought it was '06 Terlo.

See through crimson with lighter rim; deep cherry, raspberry, liqueur like fruit, redwood, rose water, slight brimstone; sweet cherry liqueur on the palate, persistent, cranberry, wild strawberry, coats with tannin, higher alcohol which could have been toned down if served a bit cooler; reminds me of Sangiovese a little bit with youthful sweet fruit and floral notes; very young but very good.

Dark crimson core with duller rim; syrah like on the nose with black pepper, lots of olive, black tea, really cool and fresh; good.

See through faded crimson with orange brown rim; high toned, fennel, sandalwood, roses, dried cherry, very ripe, almost raisins, round, tobacco, licorice, pleasant and elegant though not classically built; came together after some airtime.

See through dull crimson, pale rim; funk, sour cherry, candied; shallow palate, funky, sweet, Band-Aid; not a fan.

Black core with dull maroon rim; funk, new oak, chocolate, green, luxuriously styled, black fruit, menthol, fine tannin, age, soft; tastes like a more modern Pomerol, good.

See through pale rose pink; candied roses, sulfur, a baby, soft, sexy.

Dark core, garnet rim; compost, vegetal, aged, cigar, wet earth; strong tannin, firm, tobacco, dark fruit; very nice, called '95.

Aged, brown, disjointed, not good.

Dark core with dull maroon rim; menthol, blackberry, graphite, sweet ripe red and dark fruit, old school feel, lots of oak, sweet fruit, cedar.

Very dark core with garnet rim; dark berry, tar, sweet vanilla, kind of grapey, fine tannin, tart, juicy, vanilla bean, reminds me of Syrah Grenache blend, modern and extracted but showing some restraint; solid.
