PnP & drank over about 2 hours. Made the list & wanted to try one. Is it way way to early to drink this hell yes, does that bother me hell no! This is what is great about wine you can open a bottle like this at 10am during the holidays with a few great friends & have a wonderful time. That makes it worth every penny!
Now the wine. The nose is just incredible no words! We all went to our galsses over & over just to smell it before we ever to a sip. Bright dark blue & black fruits mixed with an what I call a barrel spice mixed with some vanilla but not strong at all just a very tiny hint on the finish. So pleasant on the palate just makes you want to swirl it around over & over before you let it glide down the back of your tongue. A joy to drink & something that is worth the wait & price of admission!

Enjoyed this over 2 days but will just write a combined note from memory. Very re fruited with a nice weight to it. There was also some spice & lavander that came through on day 2. I can't wait to try one of these with a few years on it. I also like the change up this gives you vs a lot of he heavy wines I drink. This gives you the same power of the flavors but just dances on the palate.

Opened this up on Christmas day to have with King Crab Legs. Great pairing BTW.
had some tropical fruits with kind of a citrus kicker in the back ground. Full bodied but very light on it's feet. I do not feel it has the power that the 2010 had but still equally as enjoyable.

Slow ox for about 5 hours then a 1-2 hour decant. Joyful flavors of perfectly ripe blueberries, spice & some earthy dust. Great balance and mouthfeel with just some tannnins there to let you know this is just a baby. It will get a lot better but it was a true joy to drink now.94++

From Magnum. Took it out to eat as something for everyone to enjoy at a restaurant gathering. PnP. Classic Paul Hobbs just a wonderful blend of dark fruits, a touch of vanilla & mind blowing texture. He truly has a way with his wines when it comes to the texture & mouthfeel.

2 Hour decant from Magnum. Very small hint of bricking on the edges, red fruits, caramel, licorice and hint of spice once on the palate. This has turned me to a CdP fan for sure now. Loved this wine from the first sniff to the final drop that crossed my tongue. paired this with Wagyu bone in ribeyes.......wonderful!

PnP. We wanted a red wine the other night and my wife made it clear she wanted a Myriad in which I gladly poured as they are my favorites also. Nice black & blue fruit jump out of the glass. Also got a touch of some tobacco. The wine is very consistent with the other bottles I have opened. Nice firm & sweet tannins are still there.

Had these beside a bottle of the 2010. Compared to the 2010 this was much more lean & pepper while still showing a nice bit of fruit. Always fun to compare vintages.

5 hour Slow ox then 1 hour decant. This wine is a baby but we wanted to open it to give it a try as i enjoy them better in their youth. Nice big loads of fruit hit you right out of the gate followed by a trace of vanilla. As others have said you have to enjoy this wine for what it is and I do. Not sure the it is worth 2-3 times the price of its sibling but worth a try.

Ok I will start off by saying that I have loved the other bottles of Aubert that I have tasted, but this one was average at best. It had a nice mouthfeel & maybe a very, very slight nose of some fruit. This wine was totaly dominated by OAK. Out of the 4 people that tasted this wine we all thought that there was something wrong with it cause all we tasted was wood and lots of it. These same people is who I had shared my last bottle of Aubert with last year & were excited to have this one, but no one enjoyed it.

Slow ox for over an hour then consumed over the next hour. I will say this first I am glad I bought these! This is my kind of Pinot. Slightly deeper purple-red than some Pinots. At first I got the same notes as a KB with out the cherry cola. This is a big Pinot with wonderful red cherry notes & flavors with a nice touch of some truffle & mushroom lingering in the back ground. All 3 of us that had it loved it. The wine continued to open up in the galss, but it was so enjoyable it did not stay in there very long. Even with the wine being so big it in no way seemed over done or over ripe to me or my friends. Silky smooth on the back end. Bravo! I don't buy many Pinots but this one will have to take somebodys place on my list!

3 hour decant. Very consistent notes from the last bottle I had back in Jan. Our guests loved this wine so much I almost opened my other bottle. Even though young I felt like the wine is in a very nice spot to try if you have not opened one yet. Drink these & save the single vineyard ones to age.

Didn't get a lot of this by the time the bottle got to me thanks to the ladies inside, but it was a huge hit. Love the bright big flavors this wine has. One of my favorite if not my favorite chardonnays I buy every year. Very consistent with the other 3 bottles I have had. Seems to have added a little weight & developed some tropical notes on the finish.
I also find it funny I had a bottle on 6/1 of last year.

2 hour decant. I am not a huge Syrah fan but do enjoy some of them a lot. This is one I love A LOT. It just has the most wonderful fruit flavors while still keeping that roasted/ raw meat flavor of Syrah. Just such a wonderful mouthfeel & a finish that goes on & on.

Short decant. Needed a good bottle to take to a friends house and just reached a grabbed this one as I loved the nice blueberry notes my first bottle had. The fruit notes had simmered down a little with this bottle as well as a little bit of the tannins, but a large amount of them remainded. Love onece again how smooth this wine is. The friends were impressed.

Drank this over 2 days. THe first day gave it a 2 hour decant then poured 1/3 of it back in the bottle for the next day. My other bottle I had stated that I was going to wait 5 years.......I did not follow through with that & am glad I didn't. I think this wine has improved nicely since my last bottle. Very bright dark fruit, some spice with a nice hint of oak in the background. Loved the way this wine just eased across the palate. Nice silky finish.
On the second day this wine did not fall off at all, but was not any better than the first day. Lovely wine!
