One of, if not the best bottle of Cab I've ever tasted. Glad I have more to see the evolution over time. 97+

Decanted for an hour. Still quite a bit of life left in this one. Very fresh fruit forward wine. Nice spice notes on the nose and palate. Great value, I'll save my last bottles and revisit in a couple years.

PnP. Really great wine. Maybe one of the best Grenaches i've ever tasted.Bright fruit, firm(almost gritty) texture, and long finish with silky tannins. Will age nicely but ready to drink today. Booker nails it again!

Decided to pop an '09 in celebration of Rasa's futures release of the 2010. Notes consistent with previous tasting. Absolutely awesome! Only difference this time, nose amazing upon opening. Not rating because I don't want to skew the overall rating. But, easily 98pts.

Last bottle. Dynamite. Gained weight and complexity since the previous bottle. This stuff is hitting it's stride right now but has the stamina to hold for many years in the cellar.

Texture! Incredible mouthfeel, delicious fruit balanced acidity, but the texture and velvety mouthfeel is the standout feature of this beauty. Another winner from Denner.

Texture. This had one of the silkiest, smoothest textures I've ever experienced. Great wine.

Double decanted and poured through a vinturi and still very tight, tannic but some Rhone-styled fruit shining through. I'll lay the other one down for a few years. No official rating until some of tannins blow off. 89-91pts

WOW! Near perfect, tough to not give a perfect score. One of those wines where you can't wait to take the next sip. So far, the best bottle of wine I've ever had. I have a bunch and will be getting more.

Really nice, medium body with the grenache shining through. Fresh red fruit with the syrah adding some density and depth. Seems to always take a backseat to the Dirt Worshipper. If the Digger is this good, can't wait try DW.

The last bottle. I'm sad to see this one go. Solid every time. Like saying goodbye to an old friend.

Drank during Hurricane Sandy. Delicious. Maybe a bit young but loved the balance and lush velvety mouth feel. Typical Caymus quality.

Gotta bump this a point from last bottle. Really good, delicious red fruit up front with nice acidity and clean finish. A little thin overall but very nice bottle of wine. I hope the next couple keep getting better. 90+

PnP, awesome nose, vegetal, beety and really interesting. Delicious right out of the bottle. I'll pick up a few more to put in the cellar and see how it ages. 92+

I've been drinking St Cosme CDR for a while and this is probably my least favorite vintage (winemaker said it was his best). Not even close to the 09 or 07. The astringent finish is what ruins it for me. I'm hoping, with time, the finish will smooth out a bit. At $12, not terrible but there are definitely better deals out there. This will be my guest wine for those with undiscerning palates.

Interesting wine. First glass was a PnP, bright fresh red fruit with a strong tannic finish. After an hour decant, started to evolve into a darker, earthier wine with a little funkier fruit. The tannic edge seemed alleviated when served with a sharp cheese. However, needs some cellar time to integrate the overwhelming tannic finish. Grenache dominated wine. Ironically, grenache is what introduced me to Rhone wines, but, I prefer a more syrah heavy blend.

Good value. Nothing special. I have a few more bottles I'll drink sporadically to see if there's any change. My feelings are consistent with others; What was Parker smoking?

My WOTY so far. It's everything I love about syrah. Big wine with ripe fruit silky texture that coats the mouth and very long finish. I can't imagine it getting better but definitely has the backbone and tannins to cellar for a while.

Not bad. Acidic and tight upon opening but smoothed out the next day. Overall, decent wine.

A little disappointing. Lacks identity. Not really complex and not the fruit bomb I expected.Short finish. Still enjoyable but for the money I'd find something else.

Nothing wrong with this wine. A little simple, thin but, really can't complain with price/value.

At about the third hour of decant, this beauty showed what's in store for the future. Incredible! I'm gonna sit on the rest for a while. I will revisit in 2014 to check on the progress.

Not as good as the '07, but still a great QPR. Silky texture and earthy, dusty flavors. I'll pick up a couple more to see how it develops over the next year or two.

Took a little bit to open. Some bottle variation, as the last bottle was a pop and pour deliciousness. Still a great QPR. Have few left, I'll probably drink them soon.

Love this wine! Big juicy wine( but not jammy). Tons of fruit, long finish. Glad I still have a few left.
