Rustic style. Easily pinpointed as a Gevrey. Lots of terroir here. Still a youthful and instantly likeable wine. Quality is high. Nicely aged. Red to orange bricking colour. Nose becomes more and more expressive over 2 hours, with floral notes, mushrooms, forest floor, sea spray and sweet cherries. Palate also comes around with time, and contains a bit of fruitiness, although slightly tinted by the relatively weak vintage.
Still plenty tannins, not perfectly integrated. Still very good all in all.

Impressive and accessable fruit driven wine. Some floral and perfumed notes, thick and heavy nose and palate of all the warm expressive fruit filling the sensory system. Changes little over the evening, relatively low on tannic grip. Very enjoyable now, will still last for some time in the cellar, but perhaps not a decade without loosing some qualities.

Powerful scent of fresh forest with lots of pinot fruit. Palate is a cold concoction of heavy, clean fruity notes. Cherries, apples and hints of oranges. Long and intense finish. A wonderful wine for the next decade.

Nose is beautiful and has complex notes of meat stock, freshly sliced pork roast, kimchi, french herbs in tomato sauce, sweet cherries, tea leaves and porchini mushrooms. The palate followes the nose in most ways and has high concentration and a long finish. This wine is in a perfect spot right now.
