4/8/24, 9:06 AM - Maybe you have to consider this particular vintage, closed and reserved. Surely a gem in ten years from now.
4/7/24, 8:06 AM - Right to the point ...
3/30/24, 10:45 AM - Afraid I didn't but I was lucky
3/26/24, 12:56 PM - No problem, you look like a kid ...
3/12/24, 2:52 PM - Yeah COWineLover, I also appreciate LdH both colours, mainly Bosconia and Blanco Reserva. From time to time, I open some Tondonia too but honestly speaking it must have several decades on. Cheers,
3/2/24, 6:43 PM - How much I agree ...
2/20/24, 7:05 AM - Thank you Paul852 for all your help. I think you are right. Multimistake TN. Probably it was this Mosaique Brut but I am not sure because it was five months ago and my memory is no longer as reliable as it used to be, especially in champagne tastings by the glass. Fixed it anyway.Cheers,
1/30/24, 10:01 AM - In my humble opinion dear Yagerwine, of course this bottle was solid in the sense of monolithic, unidimensional, boring even. About a bad storage what can I say? Since 2008 this wine has been laying down in my cellar under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. Anyway that cork wasn't a quality one.One bottle remaining ready to be actionable. Surely.Cheers,
12/30/23, 4:27 PM - Certainly humid ...
12/21/23, 2:58 PM - You're welcome to the club, Mochuelo.Cheers,
12/21/23, 1:18 AM - Thanks Mark. Certainly you're a mate of good taste :-) Cheers,
12/19/23, 1:46 PM - Yeah, je sois désolé but what can I do? Things are changing in biodynamics when you are taking risk ageing this kind of bottles IMHO. Marcel is a survivor anyway.Cheers,
12/20/23, 2:12 AM - I tried to do my best at any circumstances, vulgar stuff included My experience with Deiss has lights and shadows, unfortunately Cheers,
3/21/23, 12:01 PM - Merci beaucoup ... you are extremly generous.Cheers,
3/21/23, 12:22 PM - ;-)
12/18/23, 12:27 PM - Afraid so ... First of all, if blind tasting how to know where current tuscans are coming from? No traces. Grapes are foreign. International style including French oak barrels. Overall looking for new markers crossing the pond, I guess.Cheers,
12/14/23, 2:21 AM - 😳😳😳
11/25/23, 9:29 AM - Well done!
11/18/23, 11:27 AM - It's a well-know chap in our tasting between friends here in Spain. About where buy this bottle it is not difficult to findeven being not the most common Champagne.
10/27/23, 10:01 AM - A great bottle indeed
10/27/23, 10:33 AM - Just one little thing Craig, confronting Bosconia, burgundian-like, versus Tondonia, Bordeaux in style, is not a good challenge. Sounds like choosing between mum or dad, between DRC or Château Latour. Of course we have a favourite but where are different choices there's enjoyment.Cheers,
10/28/23, 4:00 AM - I love LdH too! Bosconia for reds and Tondonia for whites mainly.Cheers,
10/18/23, 2:09 AM - Alicante as 18?
10/17/23, 12:08 AM - Good for you man. Enjoy your pack.
10/14/23, 10:54 AM - Mozart died at thirty-five ... Just in case.
9/26/23, 8:48 AM - JEP007, according with this bottle I agree that 2030 sounds very good. Bilbaínas has an undefined style that varies from year to date. In this particular vintage I prefer it in early times even now I appreciated its character on the nose.Cheers,
9/23/23, 12:06 PM - Which is not bad at all ;-)
9/23/23, 12:04 PM - One of a kind after so many bottles ...
9/23/23, 11:04 AM - Descriptive tasting note ... pleasure to read. Lovely and exciting event by the way.Cheers,
9/8/23, 10:12 AM - Nice TN. Difficult to be happy there but who knows ... Cheers,
9/8/23, 6:42 AM - Para vivir cómodamente allí. Desgraciadamente es un oasis en lo que no debería ser un páramo, mi amado Gijón.
8/19/23, 5:23 AM - Dear txangu, your son deserves something better than this scumbag.Cheers,
8/12/23, 7:20 AM - Interesting ...
8/12/23, 3:26 AM - Totally agreed Decanting Queen. At this moment it is a deceptive bottle but with time it won't become something better either IMHO. It is what it is only. Cheers with a different chardonnay
10/20/22, 12:21 PM - Dear Lolo66, you are right. Mine laying down until 2034 ...
7/9/23, 11:58 PM - Dear friend, Spaniards don't use to decant our bottles becausewe prefer a slow blooming rather than a quicker splash for a bottle I shall pop up in ten years or so. However, you can do whatever you want even to open that bottle twelve hours in advance permitting a gentle aeration. Just wish you good luck.Regards from Spain,
7/13/23, 6:11 AM - Juliansi, A minimum of two hours in advance sounds even better. Hot seems more crucial considering K-L open air temperature. I shall read your tasting note anxiously Regards,
7/6/23, 9:42 AM - Pretty obvious it is not ...
4/22/23, 2:03 PM - Go ahead dear SchlaepDog. No doubts. After all drink good bottles is a question of luck.Best regards from Spain,
7/2/23, 1:08 AM - I am glad you enjoyed.Cheers,
6/20/23, 10:20 AM - Dear Querilant, I saw what a nice bunch of 1964 you have. Excellent Rioja selection. I have to agree, this is one of the most celebrated vintages ever. Really surprised your cellar is plenty of good Ribera de Duero. Longer than Rioja even.Love that Machiavelli portrait by the way. Best regards from Spain.Cheers,
6/6/23, 9:48 AM - Dear Seekingbalance, what else can be said? My point of view has been defined in my modest TN. The bad news, terroir is lost, little character, depth and complexity in absence and expensive stuff for what it is.Good things, acidity pushing as gastronomic wine, well-known tempranillo aromas and Eguren outspring are entertained. That's all. With a few exceptions, I do NOT score bottles.Cheers,
5/27/23, 3:48 AM - Coincido totalmente, un vino fuera de lo común.
12/30/22, 4:56 AM - ;-) I feel like Socrates ... only know that I know nothing.
5/6/23, 7:39 AM - Time goes by ... A pity but they're doing what they want to with their wines.
4/20/23, 2:13 PM - Fixed, Eric. Thanks again.
4/2/23, 6:24 AM - Gonna to auction my only bottle.Cheers dear couple,
4/10/23, 6:52 AM - Hmmm so bad for that 2004 Único ... Maybe too soon. Let me check out your TN.Regards from Spain,
3/21/23, 5:42 PM - Hi there El Tino,May I recommend this web?https://www.lopezdeheredia.com/english/vinos/tondoniaRB.htmlAny lemony white fish or grilled shellfish would be great.Cheers,
3/17/23, 8:22 AM - So I wasn't the only one ... unfortunatelyBetter luck on the next one from a different winery Cheers,
3/2/23, 11:12 AM - That's a tasting event ...
2/28/23, 6:35 AM - Totally agreed with your tasting note WilliamMP ...
2/21/23, 12:33 AM - That's a funny concept for a tasting note ...
2/21/23, 6:50 AM - Really? Under construction ...
2/22/23, 5:02 AM - Besides unpolite you are busy, I see.Sorry for this interruption man
2/21/23, 12:25 AM - Thank you dear Juliansi.Cheers,
2/15/23, 12:59 PM - I like that passion ...Cheers,
2/11/23, 9:30 AM - Dear Chablis28, E is not for España, it is for Envy ...
2/11/23, 2:21 PM - You are all so lucky ... I think it is some kind of magic when this happen.Cheers,
2/11/23, 9:25 AM - Dear Rocknroller, I wish similar good luck in two years ...
2/11/23, 2:00 PM - Thank you. Crossing fingers during two years seems too much ;-)Greetings from Spain,
1/30/23, 6:33 AM - Funny ...
1/23/23, 3:08 PM - Soundinbetween, in my illiterate opinion you're describing a fake bottle ... Take care.
1/29/23, 6:03 AM - I, in no mood to debate, just want to precise some aspects of your comments.First of all the first release of this wine was in 1968. There is not such a thing like a second or third launch. This wine has been commercialised under demand during decades and that wax seal is not an indicative of anything but master's winery wish. If you have time enough just read what Spaniards are saying in their CT tasting notes, specially 12Glotones.In second place, Federico Paternina is not a part of Conde de los Andes instead Marqués de la Concordia. Check it out man. There's a web page that can illustrate you. Finally my initial impression was this is a fake bottle for that Soundinbetween comment 'this bottle was sourced from an Italian cellar'. At least that supposed Italian was only by family name.Do whatever you want but sometimes trust in locals as I do.Cheers,
1/29/23, 12:49 PM - I see ... Thanks for your priceless information.
1/20/23, 2:27 PM - Agreed and understood dear James. I wish you a very Happy New Year! Never it is too late to wish happiness ...
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
