Punched out the poached cod very nicely; played especially well with the carrots. Don't ask me about components in taste, sweetness masked a serious discernment. Nevertheless really very pleasant.

The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like violet. The body is medium/full. The wine finishes medium.

The second favorite of the night, not fair to taste after a sharp, as in edgy, cab Sauv. Smooth, low tannins, but unreal short finish for one of our favorites.
